Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has unveiled the star-studded cast of the upcoming “X-Men” film at Disney’s D23 fan event in California.
The biennial D23 gathering is Disney’s biggest showcase for its upcoming films and television series, making the “X-Men” cast announcement one of the event’s most highly anticipated reveals.
The film, scheduled for release in May 2028, features a lineup of major stars who took the stage in Anaheim on Friday. Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey, Kit Connor will portray Cyclops, Christopher Abbott will play Professor X, Inde Navarrette will portray Rogue, Maya Boyd will play Storm and Adam Driver will star as Nathaniel Milbury, also known as Mr. Sinister.
Disney also unveiled details of “Frozen 3,” which picks up as Anna is preparing to get married and arrives in theaters in November next year. First-look footage teased a new female antagonist whose identity and voice actor remain undisclosed.
Cast members Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, and Idina Menzel, who voices her sister, Elsa, performed a new version of “Frozen Heart,” while Josh Gad, who voices the living snowman Olaf, debuted a new song, “Ooooh, Samantha.”
