In the Sumy region, one civilian was killed and four people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian shelling.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
“As a result of enemy strikes in the Sumy region over the past day, one civilian was killed and four people were injured. Damage and destruction to private homes, non-residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure were also recorded,” the statement reads.
Specifically, a 62-year-old man died at a medical facility after sustaining injuries on August 13 during multiple rocket launcher shelling in the Seredyno-Buda community.
As noted, in the Seredyno-Buda community, a 58-year-old man was wounded as a result of Russian shelling, and a 71-year-old woman, a 60-year-old woman, and a 37-year-old man sustained injuries.
