Attempts are underway across the nation to destroy the Constitution and constitutional values and to inflame communalism, and the Indian National Congress is engaged in a nationwide fight against this, Kerala Home Minister. Ramesh Chennithala has said.He was speaking during the 80th Independence Day celebrations held at the KPCC headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.Mr. Chennithala said the nation is “solidly founded” on the eight decades of development and progress that the Congress ushered in. He said the Independence Day celebrations will lend strength to the Congress’s fight to uphold constitutional values.KPCC General Secretary (Organisation) Neyyattinkara Sanal, Political Affairs Committee members Cherian Philip, V.S.
