A new promo of the upcoming superhero film, Avengers: Doomsday was unveiled by Marvel Studios during a showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 15, 2026.The new promo offers a glimpse into the background of the Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom, who is introduced by Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) as someone who lost everything. “I didn’t realise that he was broken,” she says as the visuals show his masked face looking at a painting.Then there are glimpses of the apocalyptic world of the film as Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards from Fantastic Four: First Steps, asks Victor if he caused all the destruction. Victor opens his eyes and remarks that all the superheroes have lived stolen lives. Thor descends from the skies and approaches Victor, saying, “You will beg for hell long before I grant it.” With his hammer, Thor attacks Victor, who defends his attack rather easily and throws away his hammer before pushing him away.“Hell answers to me. For I am doom,” Victor declares.Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz. It features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Hayley Atwell, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, with Tenoch Huerta Mejia.The film unites other Marvel superheroes including X-Men, Fantastic Four along with the Avengers.
