Mangione Admits Fatal Shooting In Court Mangione, 28, read a prepared statement before acknowledging that he shot Thompson in Manhattan on Dec. 4, 2024, Reuters reported.
"I shot Mr.
Thompson in Manhattan and he died," Mangione said.
