In view of the holidays for sanitation workers of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) on August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day, and August 16, being Sunday, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg has urged the residents not to dump household waste on roads, in drains or at public places on these two days. He also urged public to hand over the accumulated household waste to sanitation workers, when they resume collection services on August 17.
