All Blacks wing Caleb Clarke is returning to New Zealand after being ruled out of the South Africa tour.
Scans have revealed Clarke ruptured a tendon in his shoulder during Wednesday’s blowout win against the Sharks in Durban.
The injury will require surgery and a return to play timeframe will
All Blacks coach Dave Rennie said an injury replacement will not be called in at this point.
The All Blacks believe they have ample wing with Will Jordan, Emoni Narawa, Fehi Fineanganofo, Leroy Carter, Josh Moorby and Rieko Ioane already in the squad.
