A Weezer movie is definitely coming next year. At least according to rhythm guitarist Brian Bell. Speaking to ALT 98.7 on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the new Green Day-inspired Nimrods movie earlier this week, Bell was asked when the previously teased Weezer film was coming out, saying, “We already have [filmed a movie]. Although I’m not supposed to talk about it, but, yes, it’s in the can and it’s gonna be incredible. We’ll see it in 2027.”
