U.S. stocks traded lower midway through trading, with the Dow Jones index falling over 100 points on Friday.The Dow traded down 0.26% to 53,701.92 while the NASDAQ fell 0.51% to 26,665.88.

Shares of Valneva SE (NASDAQ:VALN) got a boost, surging 25% to $7.04 after the company announced that the European Medicines Agency has validated the Marketing Authorization Application for PF-07307405.
MDxHealth SA (NASDAQ:MDXH) shares were also up, gaining 80% to $0.83 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter sales results and affirmed its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.
Equities Trading DOWN Innventure Inc (NASDAQ:INV) shares dropped 49% to $1.84 after the company reported mixed quarterly financial results.
