Cézanne's Still Life with Cherries , which is valued at €6 million, was recovered alongside Renoir's Fish (€3 million) and Matisse's Odalisque on the Terrace (€20,000). Four masked thieves triggered museum alarms during the break-in before fleeing across the grounds and over a perimeter fence. Officers from the Carabinieri art recovery squad located the artworks during prosecutor-ordered searches, as the investigation continues.
