Aug. 14 (UPI) -- The Arizona Cardinals lost guard Chase Bisontis to what appeared to sustained a serious left knee injury during a preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The second-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft was hurt in the third quarter of the 27-14 victory Thursday in Las Vegas when 6-foot-2, 315-pound defensive tackle Brandon Cleveland landed on his left leg.
Bisontis, who was carted off the field, did not return.
"Not good," Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur told reporters, when asked about the rookie's prognosis. "We've got to run some more tests, but I'd say not good right now."
Bisontis was competing with Isaiah Adams for starting right guard duties. Adams was listed as the starter on the Cardinals' first unofficial depth chart for 2026. Bisontis and Oli Udoh are listed as respective second- and third-string options.
