Flamingo Estate made a name for itself (and entered our stratosphere) with its tomato candle, which was perfectly timed to the tomato-candle trend of 2021. Since then, we’ve featured the Los Angeles–based brand in countless Strategist roundups; its wide array of pantry goods includes everything from status-y hand soap to olive oil to coffee beans. But the vegetable-wax candles remain our most-recommended product. The scents vary widely and have great throw, and the packaging is lovely to boot. They’re vegan and cruelty free, too. Flamingo Estate fans also know that the (fairly pricey) goods rarely go on sale (the few items that were in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale sold out quickly). But a truly good deal is afoot: Through Sunday night, all of the brand’s candles and candle sets — except XL and personalized candles — are 21 percent off. Most offerings are now $51, down from $64. It’s still a splurge, but worth it if you’re hoping to turn your home into a garden-scented oasis.
