From tricolour plates to celebratory Indian fare, these are the spots to head to when patriotism calls for a particularly good meal.
A weekend of timeless music
Patriotic tunes and retro favourites set the mood at The Piano Man, Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar. Lost Radio pays tribute to Rafi and Kishore Kumar tonight, followed by A Jazz Gala on August 16. The all-day menu features Sushi Tacos, Truffle Dimsum, Spicy Miso Black Cod, Pisco Sour and Truffle Negroni. The price for two ranges from ₹700 to ₹999.
A taste of modern India
The Claridges celebrates India’s culinary heritage with Saffron to Sage, a modern Indian Independence brunch at Lutyens Deli. Expect Junglee Maas, Goan Prawn Curry, Chicken Sofiyani Biryani, interactive chaat stations and festive Tiranga desserts. The brunch is on August 15, from 12:30 pm–3 pm, priced at ₹3,395++ per person.
