I’ve been a regular Crocs wearer for the past six years and have owned multiple versions of the Classic Clog, as well as my favorite, the Mega Crush Clog. For me, the main draw is how comfortable they are for my wide feet, plus the colors they come in. (The drawback is the polka-dot tan you get from wearing them.) This year, I was ready for a new sandal, so I decided to try to find wide-width sandals that were as comfortable and fun as Crocs but that didn’t give me odd tan lines. I tested nine pairs in the hunt for go-to summer sandals and ended up finding a wide range of heel heights and materials suitable for casual and dressy occasions (and even to wear into fall).
