Prime Fresh, a leading fruits and vegetables post-harvest supply-chain company, has reported that its net profit in the June quarter was up 51 per cent at ₹4 crore, on the back of better demand and higher margins.Revenue was up 17 per cent to ₹62 crore (₹53 crore). Ebitda jumped 51 per cent at ₹6 crore.Hiren Ghelani, Whole-time Director said the company continued to build on the operating momentum created over the last year, supported by healthy traction across key categories such as onions, mangoes and pomegranates, along with continued margin improvement in our Services Business.Operationally, sales tonnage increased by 68 per cent y-on-y to 17,982 tonne, highlighting the strength of procurement bandwidth and ability to efficiently move significantly higher volumes across multiple customer channels, he said.Our continued traction in onions provides scale to the business, while categories such as mangoes and pomegranates are helping strengthen the value mix, he added.The Services Business continues to emerge as an importantcontributor to margin quality and overall profitability. The company also making steady progress on Cluster Development Programme initiatives as part of longer-term strategy of strengthening backward integration, building more efficient post-harvest infrastructure, said Ghelani.As the company moves through the year, the operating environment may remain dynamic due to normal agricultural seasonality, crop-specific quality and availability variations, and measured demand in select HORECA and export channels.However, the company’s diversified sourcing base, multi-category portfolio and omni-channel presence give the flexibility to adapt while remaining focused on disciplined growth, better realisations and sustainable profitability, said Ghelani.Published on August 14, 2026
