Joe and Dianne first crossed paths when they competed together on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing; they made it to the final, but they ultimately lost out to Stacey Dooley and partner Kevin Clifton.‌Fans were quick to spot the pair’s chemistry at the time, and they confirmed they were together once the series ended. The couple have gone from strength to strength since, welcoming a son in March this year, Bowden Mark Richard Sugg.‌Now, they’ve shared an update on their wedding plans in a vlog on Joe’s YouTube channel, ThatcherJoeVlogs. In one scene, the couple lounged in bed as they read questions from internet users.‌One person asked if, should they ever tie the knot, would it be in Australia, Dianne’s home country, or the UK. Joe confirmed they'd discussed the conundrum and did plan to tie the knot "one day".Joe said: "We have discussed this. By the way, we see the amount of comments that ask when are we going to get married? When are we going to get married, when are we going to get married? Like obviously, one day we will."‌He continued: "But we do talk about it and like talk about...especially if we're going to a lot of, like, friends' weddings at the moment and things like that."We always have the discussion as to how we would do it if we got married and, like, what we like about weddings and also what we don't like about weddings."Dianne admitted that she "almost would like" Bowden to be of an age where he could "walk down the aisle", saying it would be "cute". Joe agreed that he liked the idea of their "own kids being there".‌As for where their nuptials might take place, Dianne said: "I think we said we'd have to do two, didn't we? We'd have to do two weddings, an Australian wedding and a UK wedding."Joe said: "I think just cos Diane's got so much family out in Australia. And it's a big ask. It's a big ask to ever have a wedding abroad.Article continues below"You want everyone to be there, but also you...it's a big ask to get everybody from another country, especially Australia, to come all the way over here for a wedding and vice versa."He added that it's part and parcel of being in a relationship with somebody from overseas.Dianne suggested that the one in Australia could be a beach wedding, as Joe joked they could have it "on paddleboards".
