Five people were injured in Smila, Cherkasy region, after a Russian drone struck an apartment building overnight on August 14.

According to Ukrinform, Cherkasy Regional Governor Ihor Taburets reported this on Telegram.

According to Taburets, the Russian UAV, which was loaded with shrapnel, struck an apartment building.

Medics provided assistance to five people injured in the attack. They declined hospitalization.

"The residents of the apartment that was at the epicenter of the strike were not at home at the time of the attack," Taburets said.
