Qatar and Morocco are part of a group of six Arab football federations that have pledged their full support to FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Along with Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, and Mauritania, these nations are standing firmly by Infantino as he prepares for a reelection bid next year, despite growing pressure from other major international football bodies for him to step down.
The trouble for Infantino began after he proposed a controversial plan to sell a 20% stake in the World Cup's commercial rights to private investors. The deal was intended to raise approximately $4.2 billion but was quickly abandoned after a massive backlash.
Critics from Europe, Asia, and North America represented by the UEFA, AFC, and CONCACAF confederations have been vocal in their disapproval, with some calling for his resignation over his handling of the private investment bid.
