Musinsa Co., a Korean fashion and retail platform company, said Friday it will open an offline outlet in Indonesia as part of its global expansion strategy.

Musinsa has signed a deal with Indonesian retailer PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP) to enter the Southeast Asian market by opening a Musinsa Standard outlet next year, the company said in a press release.

"The Musinsa Standard store will be located in MAP's shopping malls in the form of a shop-in-shop, and MAP will be in charge of the store's operations," a company spokesperson said.

Musinsa sees Indonesia as a key Southeast Asian market for its offline business, given its population of 280 million and rising demand for K-fashion products.
