Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited has partnered with Junior Achievement Nigeria to equip more than 600 young Nigerians with digital skills through a 10-day bootcamp aimed at improving employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.

The Digital Bootcamp Programme will take place across Ondo, Abuja, Rivers and Kaduna states, providing participants with practical training in project management, data analysis, cybersecurity, UI/UX design, IT support and digital marketing.

The initiative targets graduates, National Youth Service Corps members, women and young people from low-income communities as the partners seek to bridge digital skills gaps and expand access to opportunities in Nigeria’s growing digital economy.

Speaking on the partnership, the Acting Executive Director, Junior Achievement Nigeria, Olaolu Akogun, said strong partnerships could create lasting impact by preparing young Nigerians for emerging opportunities.

“Strong partnerships create lasting impact. We are proud to partner with Standard Chartered in expanding access to digital skills training for young Nigerians. This investment demonstrates a shared commitment to building a workforce that is ready for the opportunities of the digital age,” Akogun said.
