MANILA, Philippines – An incoming 18-year-old female student of De La Salle University (DLSU) died after falling from one of the school’s Manila campus buildings Thursday afternoon, according to the Manila Police District (MPD).
The MPD said that a concerned citizen reported the presence of a person on the ledge of the 10th floor of the Enrique Razon Sports Complex on Thursday afternoon.
Personnel who responded to the scene said the victim was found lying face down, before she rolled over the ledge and fell to the ground.
She was declared dead on the spot by a physician.
