Selena Gomez and her mother, Mandy Teefey, are being sued for fraud by investors in their mental-health start-up, Wondermind. According to a complaint filed in federal court in Delaware on Thursday, Gomez, Teefey, and their former business partner Daniella Pierson “falsely represented” the company to two groups who claim they invested almost $1.2 million in the company. The plaintiffs said they only became aware of problems at Wondermind following The Cut’s report last year. TMZ was first to report the lawsuit.
