Magnum Ice Cream Company is recalling all lots of its Reese's Crunchy Peanut Ice Cream Bar and Almond Joy Ice Cream Bar after an internal review found that certain nutritional information on the product packaging was inaccurate, the company said. The ice cream bars are produced by Magnum's Good Humor unit and sold under the Reese's and Almond Joy brand names.
Under a Class III classification, the company said, consuming the affected products is unlikely to result in any adverse health consequences. Magnum noted that while the nutritional panel carries errors, the ingredient list and allergen declarations printed on the boxes remain accurate. The company has not disclosed which specific nutritional figures are wrong.
