Vantage Data Centers is exploring options including an initial public offering or a sale, according to Reuters, as AI-driven demand pushes data center valuations higher and spurs dealmaking across the sector.

Silver Lake, a private equity firm, and DigitalBridge Group, an infrastructure investor, back the company, which could fetch a valuation of roughly $100 billion through a stock market listing that raises around $10 billion — a figure that would make it the largest data center IPO on record, according to Reuters, citing unnamed sources. A sale — including a partial stake sale — is also under consideration.
