Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, disclosed this in a post on X on Thursday, saying the meeting was taking place in Washington, DC, United States.
Nigeria and the United States have commenced a meeting of their Joint Working Group to assess progress in bilateral counterterrorism efforts and develop the next phase of security collaboration between both countries.

According to the minister, the Nigerian delegation is led by National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, while the US delegation is headed by Allison Hooker, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.
“Dateline: Washington DC USA. The meeting of the USA-NIGERIA JOINT WORKING GROUP to evaluate progress in bilateral counterterrorism efforts and charting the next phase of security collaboration between Nigeria and the United States of America,” Odumegwu-Ojukwu wrote.
