Community sources told SaharaReporters that Dada had gone to his farm on Tuesday morning but failed to return home as expected.
A farmer identified as Mr Dada has been killed by suspected bandits while working on his farm in Oshokoshoko, Oworo, Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday morning, throwing the farming community into fear and raising fresh concerns over the safety of farmers operating in the area.
Oshokoshoko is located along the Obajana–Kabba corridor, a major route connecting several communities in Kogi State.
