APC Alleges Osun Campaign DG's Nephew Shot Dead By 'Suspected Accord Party Members'

According to Olabisi, Ayegbo was attacked and killed on Wednesday night at a road junction near his residence in the Idofin area of Esa-Oke.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has alleged that Dele Ayegbo, a nephew of the party's governorship campaign Director-General, Wole Oke, was shot dead by suspected members of the Accord Party in Esa-Oke, Obokun Local Government Area.

This is coming less than 48hrs to Saturday's governorship election.

The party described the killing as part of what it called a sustained campaign of political violence targeted at its members across the state and urged security agencies to immediately investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.

The allegation was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Osun APC spokesperson, Kola Olabisi.
