On the night of August 13, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian Nebo-U radar station, a control center for attack drones, and fuel, lubricant and ammunition depots in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
In particular, the Defense Forces struck the Nebo-U radar station in Sevastopol.
The Nebo-U is a Russian long-range, three-coordinate, meter-band radar system designed to detect and track airborne targets, including aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. Striking the station reduces the enemy's ability to monitor airspace and detect airborne targets in a timely manner.
Ukrainian forces also struck a UAV control center near Myrne in Zaporizhzhia region; a fuel and lubricant depot near Dovzhansk in Luhansk region; an ammunition depot near Novyi Hai in Zaporizhzhia region; a logistics and materiel depot near Kalanchak in Kherson region; and an area where Russian personnel were concentrated near Butyrky in Belgorod region of Russia.
