The cybercrime wing of the Tirunelveli City police organised an awareness event at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Palayamkottai, on Thursday.
Since students in their teenage years can inadvertently get embroiled in cybercrimes while using mobile phones or laptops, cybercrime awareness events are being organised in schools in Tirunelveli city following instructions from Commissioner of Police Deshmukh Shekar Sanjay.
Police officials attached to the cybercrime wing explained in detail about cybercrimes and the safest methods of using mobile phones and computers without getting trapped in cybercrimes.
