Krispy Kreme is launching a six-doughnut Pokémon collection on Aug. 18, timed to the franchise's 30th anniversary, the company said. The collection will be available for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide, with a subset of flavors also sold at select grocery retailers.

The lineup includes five Pokémon-inspired doughnuts alongside a Poké Ball doughnut. The Pikachu Doughnut features a shell filled with lemon-flavored Kreme, finished with vanilla icing, lightning-shaped nonpareils, and a Pikachu piece on top. The Charmander Doughnut starts with a shell filled with chocolate and toasted marshmallow flavors, then gets a dip in caramel icing tinted orange, a scattering of red and gold sugar, and a Charmander piece to finish. The Squirtle Doughnut starts with an Original Glazed base, finished with cotton candy-flavored buttercream, a coating of sanding sugar and nonpareils, and a surfing Squirtle piece on top. The Jigglypuff Doughnut is an Original Glazed variety dressed up with strawberry-flavored buttercream, a sprinkle of strawberry-flavored cookie pieces, and a Jigglypuff decal. The Bulbasaur Doughnut starts with an Original Glazed base, coated in vanilla-flavored icing and finished with a frosting leaf and a Bulbasaur piece on top. The Poké Ball Doughnut rounds out the collection with an Original Glazed base decorated in vanilla-flavored icing, red sprinkles, and a chocolate icing design piped on top, the company said.
