The Producer Price Index for final demand was flat month-over-month, as a drop in energy prices offset a rise in services

The Producer Price Index for final demand rose 4.7% over the 12 months ended in July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday, unchanged from the prior month on a seasonally adjusted basis.
Final demand prices had edged down 0.1% in June and risen 0.5% in May, according to the BLS.
