Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) stock is trading lower on Thursday, as the space company announced that it entered into a replacement equity distribution agreement to sell common stock.
The agreement provides for raising money by selling common stock at an aggregate offering price of up to $1.94 billion from time to time.

Rocket Lab is not increasing the total amount of stock it plans to sell.
Instead, it is simply tearing up an older agreement from May 2026 and replacing it with a new one, carrying over the exact same amount of unsold stock (worth up to roughly $1.94 billion).
