James Middleton has shared a 'beautiful' photo of son Inigo watching the solar eclipse yesterday evening.The younger brother of the Princess of Wales posted the scenic image on Instagram, showing his little one outside, alongside two of his beloved dogs.Between 6pm and just after 8pm on Wednesday, the UK's most significant solar eclipse since 1999 took place - gripping much of the nation.Beaches, parks and beauty spots were packed with sky-watchers who witnessed the once-in-a-generation event, the moon blocking up to 96 per cent of its disc at the peak and leaving just a sliver of sunlight visible across the deepest parts of the country.Though it was not a total eclipse, meaning, despite drops in light and temperatures, it did not fall completely dark - something that is clearly reflected in James' snap.The photograph shows 2-year-old Inigo, with whom 39-year-old James shares with French financier wife Alizée Thévenet, 36, alongside their two golden retrievers, Mabel and Isla.Captioning the photo, James wrote: 'Solar Eclipse 2026. The bright-white sun beamed down from the blue sky, the hot summer having turned the grass a pale yellow in the field they'd ventured out to, creating rich golden hour lighting for the picturesque snap. Turning his back to the sun, no doubt under direction from his father, Ingo pointed up at a different part of the sky with sweet curiosity, prompting his pooch Mabel to do the same. Thousands of fans flooded the comment section, praising James's eye behind the lens and his adorable son. One person wrote: 'Great photo, definitely one for a frame.
