Eurovision has changed its rules to bar countries involved in armed conflicts or sensitive geopolitical situations from hosting the contest.
Israel and Ukraine are the most likely countries to be affected by the new hosting restrictions.
Five European countries — Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Iceland — boycotted this year's contest over Israel's participation.
