RAWALPINDI: The post-mortem examination of the suspect who was shot dead after he allegedly opened fire at security personnel was conducted at DHQ Hospital on Wednesday, officials said, adding that a phone recovered from him was also being examined as part of the investigation.
The body of 32-year-old suspect, Mohammad Hussain, was brought by the R.A. Bazaar police to the DHQ hospital, where a team of doctors conducted the autopsy on Tuesday night, as no one had claimed the body.
Investigations revealed the suspect was a resident of Khyber district. Police said a political party flag, cap, weapon and mobile phone were recovered from him.
