The Nigerian Bar Association has assembled a diverse array of prominent figures from law, politics, government, business and public life as speakers for its 66th Annual General Conference scheduled to be held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to the NBA in a release, among the prominent speakers who will be gracing the conference, which has the theme “Beyond Limits,” holding from August 21 to 28, 2026, are former Liberian President George Weah, former Nigerian Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission Professor Chidi Odinkalu and Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele.

Others include Senior Advocates of Nigeria Miannaya Aja Essien, Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, and Senator Dino Melaye, as well as dual-qualified Nigerian and United Kingdom lawyer Genevieve Nwodo Wakeley-Jones.

The conference is expected to attract thousands of lawyers, judges, policymakers, business leaders, academics and other stakeholders from Nigeria and beyond.

Weah is expected to deliver the keynote address at the conference.
