Their 14.808 netted $27,182 in futurity earnings and $6,579 in Open 1D earnings, winning both the Royal Crown Open and the Open. The Round 2 win was posted by none other than Dusky Lynn Hall aboard one of the newest additions to her string, The Tornado Lane. Their 14.692 was the fastest time of the entire week. They earned $27,182 for the round win, $6,395 for topping the High Stakes, and $6,579 in Open 1D earnings. The blistering-fast run helped them secure the pair of futurity average wins, and the duo banked over $100,000 on the two runs. DerbyBailey Alvarez and Bellas Epic Booker (Epic Leader x Brookabelle x Brookstone Bay) stopped the clock with a 14.878, earning $12,184 for the Round 1 wins in both the Royal Crown and SVE Open derbies. The pair also netted $6,010 in Open earnings. Kit Johnson and Wolverrine (The Goodbye Lane x Rosas Cantina CC x Corona Cartel) rebounded in Round 2, clocking the second-fastest time of the week at 14.716 seconds. They topped the Royal Crown and SVE Open derbies, and added almost $23,000 to their lifetime earnings with the single run. Kassie Mowry and her great gelding, Force The Goodbye, were rock solid in the Derby, consistently placing high in both rounds. That consistency helped them earn both the Royal Crown Derby Championship and SVE Open Derby Championship.Mowry also had a successful weekend aboard Goodbye Sophie and between the two horses, netted over $57,000 at the event.
