Russian special services have stepped up efforts on social media to collect personal data on Ukrainian prisoners of war and their relatives.
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"They are trying to copy the operating principles of Coordination Headquarters projects, but with criminal intentions, in order to influence families and force them to commit illegal actions," the Coordination Headquarters said.
Under the guise of "assistance," "search efforts," or "helping with a release," Russians contact families through websites, Telegram channels, or direct phone calls to relatives.
