Jordan on Wednesday that featured career highlights. “Sometimes you don’t even know when you’ve already watched the end,” Westbrook wrote in the accompanying post. “You had to be there. And now it’s over.”But Westbrook, who doesn’t say a word during the video, hasn’t explicitly announced his retirement. His representation did not immediately respond to The Athletic’s request for comment.In November, Westbrook became the eighth player in NBA history to record 10,000 assists. He sits fifth on the all-time list with 10,351. In fourth place is LeBron James, with 12,016. Westbrook is also the league’s all-time leader in triple-doubles with 209 and has averaged a triple-double in four different seasons. Drafted with the No. 4 pick in 2008, Westbrook spent 11 seasons with Oklahoma City, earning two first-team All-NBA honors and winning the league’s MVP award in 2016-17.

One of the most explosive guards of his era, Westbrook led the league in points per game twice and in assists per game three times.
