Apple regularly rolls out new features for Apple Wallet, and a future upgrade could center on trade-ins. Code also suggests Apple may extend how long trade-in quotes stay valid, from 14 days to 90.
Another new feature for Apple Wallet
MacRumors has spotted code in Apple’s Guide app that references this new system. For those unfamiliar, the report says Guide is an app “used by Apple employees, Apple Authorized Resellers, and other sales organizations during conversations and product demonstrations with customers.”
There are multiple strings in the code of the Guide app referencing the ability to save trade-in offers to the Wallet app:
“You can add this trade-in offer to your Apple Wallet. It will be valid for 90 days.”
