A nine‑year‑old girl was allegedly raped in front of her brother while the two were returning from school in Bhind district on Tuesday, police said.MP police are currently investigating the case. He first took them towards fields near a canal but, upon spotting herders, diverted them to a spot behind the school. There, he allegedly raped the girl. The girl lost consciousness after the incident. Her brother managed to reach home and informed the family, who rushed her to hospital.”The children’s mother later reported the matter to police. Following medical examination of the survivor, a case was registered against Valmiki under charges of rape and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.Police teams are conducting raids to arrest him.
