Aug. 12 (UPI) -- PlayStation announced on Wednesday that a new narrative expansion and a survival mode is coming to hit open-world samurai game, Ghost of Yotei.
The new content will be a part of Ghost of Yotei: Complete Edition, which releases for the PlayStation 5 on Oct. 1 for $69.99.
Players who already own Ghost of Yotei can upgrade to the complete edition for $14.99 to receive the expansion and survival mode.
The narrative expansion, titled Echoes of Sekigahara, follows main character Atsu as she reunites with a figure from her past. The expansion will be split between the present day and flashbacks to Atsu's past. Fans will also get to explore a previously unseen valley.
The survival mode, titled Most Wanted, is a single-player combat mode with roguelike elements. Players will go on combat runs where they can receive upgrades and perks as they take down enemies.
