A user going by the nickname "Xiaoqiang's Lover" posted the complaint on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu.
She stated that on Aug. 7, she bought a box of sushi at the Orchard Central mall location and was horrified to find a small cockroach hidden inside the rice of a shrimp sushi.
The customer reported feeling "nauseous" and immediately filed a complaint with the store.

According to a screenshot of the written response she shared, which was later reported by 8World, Don Don Donki apologized and offered a full refund for the meal.
