MANILA, Philippines— Another auditor of the Commission on Audit (COA) testified before the Senate impeachment court on Wednesday that Vice President Sara Duterte’s use of confidential funds was irregular.

A total of P612.5 million in confidential funds (CFs) were allocated to the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd) during her stint as its secretary.

“Sa audit po ninyo, meron po ba kayong nakitang illegal, improper o irregular sa paggamit at sa pag-liquidate ng perang iyan?” Senator- judge Risa Hontiveros asked prosecution witness, Xylene del Campo.

(During your audit, did you find anything illegal, improper, or irregular in the use and liquidation of those funds?”)
