MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. The Yabloko party has received a reasoned decision of the Supreme Court to withdraw from the elections to the State Duma on the claim of the Rodina party, a participant in the process told TASS.

"The representatives of the party received a reasoned decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation," the participant said. He added that lawyers are now reviewing the documents and will file an appeal in the coming days.

The Supreme Court removed Yabloko from the polls on August 10.

The court session lasted more than nine hours. If the decision comes into force, Yabloko will not be able to participate in the elections to the State Duma. The party will also be deprived of the right to free and paid airtime on federal state TV channels and radio stations, including participation in TV debates. In addition, the party will lose the right to campaign in support of the cancelled list, to produce and distribute campaign materials.

Financial transactions on the special election account of the party will also be terminated, with the exception of settlements on previous obligations and the return of unspent funds. Yabloko will also lose the right to have proxies and authorized representatives on financial matters acting in the interests of the federal list.
