Honghe's tourism ambassador "Honghe Niuniu" appears at the Honghe Culture and Tourism 2026 Global Promotion Event.
On July 31, the Honghe Culture and Tourism 2026 Global Promotion Event was held at the New Media Tower of People's Daily in Beijing.
Hosted by the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, the event promoted the prefecture's tourism resources and cultural brand to a global audience.
Honghe is the world's only destination holding UNESCO World Heritage, Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems, and World Heritage Irrigation Structures designations simultaneously, anchored by the Hani rice terraces, the old town of Jianshui, and the China-Vietnam Railway.
