Mohammad Reza Naqdi, Senior Advisor to the IRGC Commander-in-Chief, emphasized the continuation of missile production in Iran, asserting that the production rate of ballistic missiles exceeds their operational launch rate and that Iran’s missile stockpiles will not be depleted.
Speaking on a state television broadcast, Naqdi stated: “We are currently producing, and this process is unending.” According to Naqdi, the current production rate of Iranian ballistic missiles exceeds the rate at which they are being launched, with a similar dynamic applying to drone manufacturing.
He added that Iran does not rely solely on existing stockpiles, as defense equipment manufacturing remains continuous. Naqdi claimed that even if the war continues for years, ballistic missiles will still be manufactured in Iran and supplied to the armed forces on the final day of the conflict.
Highlighting the country’s industrial capacity, the senior advisor noted that, in addition to hundreds of industrial complexes, Iran houses approximately 950 industrial towns where defense equipment production is actively underway across various regions.
Naqdi also emphasized Iran’s defense self-sufficiency, stating that design, construction, and research are conducted by Iranian personnel, a trajectory he described as the result of long-standing policies aimed at developing defense industries and reducing foreign dependence.
