Rosie O’Donnell took time out from her recently intensified feud with President Donald Trump to thank him ― sort of.O’Donnell ― who recently finished a well-received limited run off-Broadway and is slated to guest-host “Jimmy Kimmel Live” starting Aug. 17 ― told “Good Hang” host Amy Poehler about her new status and the man perhaps responsible.“I feel like recently I’m re-famous,” O’Donnell told a laughing Poehler on Tuesday’s episode. “That’s what I feel. I told my kids, Well kids, hold on ’cause mommy’s re-famous. I don’t know how it happened. I think it’s Mango Mussolini.”“I think it’s him who did it,” she continued. “He didn’t know. If he knew how much he was helping my career and my life, he would shut up about me because, you know, he’s a horrible creature.”O’Donnell drew Trump’s ire recently with a claim about his capacity. “And the fact that he’s falling asleep, that he’s very physically ill, that he doesn’t look like he’s long for this earth, that he shouldn’t be the man in control of the nuclear code,” O’Donnell said in an interview last week. “Like, these are things that everyone around him knows.”Trump snapped back by posting an AI image of him as a doctor diagnosing O’Donnell with a “massive” case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”The longtime talk show host and “A League of Their Own” star applied for Irish citizenship last year.
