Quantinuum reported second-quarter revenue of $8 million on Tuesday, its first earnings release since going public, as losses widened sharply from the same period a year earlier.

Revenue rose 279% from $2 million in the prior-year period. That topped the $7.6 million consensus estimate, according to Barron's. The company attributed the outperformance to growing uptake of its cloud computing services.
