Consulting Engineers (TCE) Launch Project UTKARSH to Build Manufacturing
Industry-Ready Workforce
Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC), in partnership with Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE), today launched Project UTKARSH, a CSR-led skilling initiative to equip engineering students with industry-relevant skills and prepare them for careers in India’s growing EPC, and manufacturing infrastructure sector, along with the launch of CGSSC’s newsletter, ‘Yantrashilp’. The programme was inaugurated at Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI), Okhla, New Delhi, in the presence of senior government, industry and skilling leaders from TCE, CBC and CGSSC.
Project UTKARSH has been designed to bridge the gap between technical education and industry requirements by offering industry aligned training in three critical engineering disciplines—Civil Design, Piping & Instrumentation Design, and Electrical Design. The initiative will initially benefit technical/ vocational students across Delhi-NCR and Jamshedpur, equipping them with industry-relevant competencies and enhancing their employability.
